New Hampshire band Recycled Percussion broke a world record Sunday night, performing in 25 European countries in seven days to benefit children back home.
The band had its final performance in the Netherlands.
Band members drove every mile of this journey across Europe in a rented van.
They tackled the world record as a fundraiser for the Recycled Percussion Foundation. All donations go to their annual holiday toy drive to help 5,000 New Hampshire children.
"We spent the better part of the last 10 days away from our families in the holiday season to make this happen,” band leader Justin Spencer said in a video on Facebook. “And you fans that have stuck by us this whole time, the entire trip, are the reason we're doing this, so thank you. For everyone who has donated – I’ve read your name, (band member) Ryan (Vezina) has read your name – we are unbelievably grateful."
The band is still seeking donations, which can me made on Recycled Percussion’s Facebook page.
Recycled Percussion's TV show "Chaos & Kindness" airs on WMUR. This week only, it airs every night at 7 p.m.
