Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ecuador to SVG presents his Credentials

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ecuador to St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), José María Borja López, presented his Letter of Credence to Governor General, Dame Susan Dougan on Monday, March 24, 2025 at Government House.

During his official visit to SVG the Ambassador participated in several courtesy calls with Vincentian dignitaries, including Prime Minister, Dr Ralph Gonsalves, and Foreign Affairs Minister Frederick Stephenson, accompanied by permanent secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Consumer Affairs, Sandy Peters-Phillips, a release from that ministry states.

The Republic of Ecuador and St Vincent and the Grenadines established diplomatic relations on August, 1, 1989, and SVG continues to value its partnership with Ecuador.
