Astana. April 24. KazTAG – Highways are blocked in four regions of Kazakhstan due to overflows, reports QazAvtoJol.
“The traffic restriction applies to 8 highways of republican significance in four regions (Aktobe, Atyrau, Kostanay, North Kazakhstan region) with a total length of 463 km,” reads the message.
The national operator claims that due to the sudden melting of snow, there is overflow of melt water across the roadway on four roads with a total length of 4,300 meters in two regions (Kostanay, North Kazakhstan region).
In the Kostanay region, on April 21, due to overflow, traffic restrictions were imposed for all types of vehicles on the Yekaterinburg-Almaty highway, km 686-729, section of the village of Sarykol - the border of the North Kazakhstan region.
In the North Kazakhstan region, due to this overflow, traffic is limited for all types of vehicles on the Yekaterinburg-Almaty highway, km 729-768, a section of the border of the Kostanay region - the village of Toksan bi.
