On Friday, it was revealed a staff member at a Sydney Woolworths has tested positive, while a Bunnings Warehouse and a KFC in regional NSW were both on high alert following a visit from a confirmed case.

Woolworths Kirawee sent an email to locals letting them know about the worker, who is in isolation and whose last shift in the supermarket was on July 13 from 3.45pm to 5.15pm.

The store underwent detailed deep cleaning overnight on July 22, the letter read.

The Southern NSW Local Health District revealed that a visitor with Covid-19 went to several locations in the region on July 20, including the Bunnings in Goulburn and KFC in nearby Marulan.

“Additional cleaning has been undertaken at both stores overnight and all staff will be tested for Covid-19 today,” the department said in a statement.

Any staff or customers who checked into the stores at the same time as the Covid case were sent a text overnight.

The health department said the positive case visited “two other Goulburn locations” but did not disclose what they were, only that there was “interaction between the limited staff and the case”.
