A Maine woman is due in court Thursday after being accused of robbing a Rochester pharmacy.
On Friday at about 9:15 a.m., Rochester police responded to Rite-Aid at 105 Milton Road for a reported robbery.
A woman had walked to the pharmacy at the rear of the store, handed the pharmacist a note and left with an undisclosed amount of prescription medications. She did not show a weapon.
Police learned the woman had fled to Maine. Maine State Police arrested Ann Castellez, 58, of Lebanon, Maine, for the robbery, and she was extradited to New Hampshire on Wednesday.
Castellez was charged with robbery, a class B felony. Bail was set at $50,000 cash and she is scheduled for arraignment at Strafford Superior Court on Thursday.
